Orange Wine Festival - Done and Dusted

Another successful Orange Wine Festival 2017 has come to a close.  With signature events all sold out including our own humble little event the Pilgrimage of Elevation, Orange is becoming a hub for wine and food travel and why not! It's a picturesque place with rolling hills and fantastic locally grown produce!Pilgrimage of Elevation Wrap - Our guests were met in town by Justin Jarrett, vigneron and owner of See Saw Wines, who then joined them on the trip out to the first vineyard Annangrove Park at an average elevation of 750 metres above sea level. A PILGRIMAGE OF ELEVATION FOR THE 2017 ORANGE WINE FESTIVAL

A PILGRIMAGE OF ELEVATION FOR THE 2017 ORANGE WINE FESTIVAL

The winemakers and viticulturists of the Orange region, in Central Western NSW, regard altitude — and therefore many of the climatic conditions that they grow their grapes in — with an almost religious zeal. It's all hands on deck as we wrangle and manage where to go next! B-double semi after B-double semi roll in and out, flatbed...

I Love Vintage!

I Love Vintage!

I love vintage! I get a little sparkle in my eye when I see the fruit start to fill and change colour. The air is electric and I’m excited to see tractors pulling grape bins zipping through the vineyard, getting back to the harvester before the next bin is full! Seeing all the hands quickly and gently snip off delicious delicate juicy globes and swiftly running buckets back to the grape bin. Your harvest is like a report card. Full of A’s because of all your hard work and effort over the last year. You’re attentive and disciplined and do...
