There are those that argue Orange is where Shiraz ultimately finds its own balance in Australia. Our cool climate Shiraz has hints of white pepper and spicy fruit flavours which pair perfectly with lamb and other slow cooked meat dishes.

Winemaking | Harvested on 2nd and 9th March 2021 from Annangrove Park. Whole berry fermented in open and closed stainless steel fermenters. Hand-plunged (opens) and pumped over (closed) twice per day. Left on skins for 14 days before pressed to tank. Transferred to older French oak barrels to complete malolactic fermentation. Matured for 9 months. One portion left in stainless steel to retain freshness in final blend. No fining with a light filtration. Bottled on 3rd February 2022.

Aroma | Bright red berries with blue fruit. Spice and pepper sing cool climate Shiraz.
Palate | Medium bodied with blue fruit intensity on the mid palate. Integrated tannins compliment spices of clove and white pepper. A bright and juicy Shiraz.
Food matches | Balance with a range of game meat dishes, charcuterie or rich flavoured cheeses.
