Pinot Gris needs balance more than most. Cropped at the right level on our pristine Orange hillside, we have produced a wine that is luscious, beautifully aromatic and perfect with Asian influenced food.
Grape variety | 100% pinot gris
Winemaking | This pinot gris was harvested in the cool of the night from two blocks: one from 730m and from one at 900m elevation. The grapes were de-stemmed and crushed immediately before being matured on lees for 6 months. Free run juice underwent malolactic fermentation adding texture and depth to the finished wine.
Colour | Pale straw with a light green, youthful hue.
Aroma | Fresh and lifted Granny Smith apple, pear, honeysuckle and spice.
Palate | Fresh, crisp with hints of citrus and spice, complemented by mouth-watering fruit richness and long crisp finish.
