Monica Gray, Winemaker
Monica joined See Saw in October 2021, and leads the winemaking team. Since completing a Bachelor of Wine Science from Charles Sturt University, Monica has worked across Orange, Canberra and Mudgee, and completed overseas vintages in Germany and France. Monica is a regular judge at wine shows through NSW and further afield. Her favourite wine to make and drink is Chardonnay. Fortunately, Orange produces some of the best in Australia! Her favourite season is Autumn of course! Vintage is the most exciting time of year in the winery. Add crisp mornings, sunny days, and stunning Autumn colours – Monica loves living and working at See Saw in the beautiful region of Orange.
We asked Monica if she were a See Saw Wine what would she be?
Hmmm…. That’s a tough question! Maybe a Riesling? A little quiet and unassuming but have lots of intensity and drive! Can (hopefully) age well too haha!
