2024 Halliday Wine Ratings
We are so excited to share that not only one but eleven of our current vintage See Saw Wines have recently been awarded either gold or silver in the 2024 Halliday Wine Ratings. Of course we love all our wine equally, we don’t pick a favourite child (unless it’s Prosecco of course), but with no further ado, here are some of our winners!
Taking home the Gold we have…
Our 2022 Invergo Pinot Noir which scored 95 points and was described as having a “good chew to the tannins… a great lively pinot noir of substance” by Shanteh Wale. Currently being featured on our Winter Seasonal Tasting at our Cellar Door, this is one of our picks for the cold weather. Pair the beautifully layered fruit and spice in the wine with casseroles or stews like beef bourguignon… Or a meat lovers pizza if that’s more your style. It is a proud moment twice over for this wine which tied with our 2022 Balance Pinot Noir at the NSW Wine Awards (winner of best Pinot Noir in NSW 2023).
Our 2022 Invergo Syrah also scored a whopping 95 points for being an “expressive cool-climate shiraz that feels both modern and timeless” according to Shanteh Wale. Full of a perfect balance of ripe black fruit, spice, pepper, and acid that makes your palate tingle in all the right ways. Paired with game meats, charcuterie, or even by itself, our 2022 Invergo Syrah is a must-drink this winter.
