Autumn, arguably the most beautiful time of year to visit Orange with the city ranked as one of the best places In NSW to experience the incredible gold, yellow, red and deep green colours that this
time of year has to offer. Here is how we would spend an Autumn Day in Orange.
Start the day with a walk around the Orange CBD, taking in locations such as Cook Park, and Elephant Park. Wind your way through Oranges beautifully tree lined streets and soak up the glorious colour. Our hot tip is to check out Sampson St near Cook Park for a must have Autumn photo opportunity.
All good walks finish with a coffee. For the best coffee and breakfast in Orange, head to Groundstone café. Not only will you be treated to Oranges fabulous hospitality but the café grounds are surrounded by some of the most spectacular Maple trees that boast an incredible bright red colour in Autumn.

Take a country drive out or Orange, we recommend driving to Lake Canobolas via the Pinnacle Road. A lovely windy road with ever changing Autumn colours, a stop over at Lake Canobolas and if up to it the 2.5km walking track around the Lake.
